Boucherville

Nestled within a heritage duplex, the Boucherville project is the result of transforming a compartmentalized condo into a spacious loft inspired by grand hotel suites. The redesign aimed to maximize natural light and optimize living areas, while preserving the home's distinctive Victorian Colonial style. A restored red brick fireplace and mantel enrich the space, echoing the home's past. In a deliberate contrast, a sleek black kitchen sits atop a chevron-patterned floor reminiscent of charming Parisian apartments.
The rest of the space features wide-plank white-painted maple flooring, evoking the era’s original style.Custom furniture pieces, such as the headboard and entry bench, were designed to blend elegance with originality. A textured matte finish and soft, rounded shapes give a fresh dimension to the home’s traditional French lines. In the bathroom, authenticity was preserved through the meticulous restoration of a clawfoot tub and a vintage sink. The timeless design, expressed in modern language, is elevated by windows showcasing the original stained glass.
